JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 24 - Online Learning

Online learning is not an effective way to educate students because it does not let you CLARIFY to the instructors that you don't know what to do. Even if you could send them a message by computer, you probably wouldn't get to understand as well as if they told you in person. Also, you could DIFFERENTIATE if you stay in your house for a long time without communicating with people. For example, when a friend(s) comes over to your house and says if you want to go somewhere, you could be used to being in your house for such a long time that you could reject their offer and say no, all because your used to being in your AREA (such as your house) all the time. That is why online learning is not an effective way to educate a student.

  1. I see that you believe students' social skills will weaken if they spend too much time taking online classes. I agree with this concept!
