JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 30 - "D" Grades

Schools should not eliminate "D" grades because they might have a chance to make up the work they missed and bring their grade up. Also they might not INTERACT with people as much so they hardly ask for any help. Sometimes they could also have someone COMPENSATE a substitute for them so they could be helped more often. Students should INITIALY be helped in the begining of the school year so they dont fall behind. That is why schools should not eliminate "D" grades.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 29 - School Conferences

Parents should not have to face jail time for missing their child's school conferences because they might have had to go to something more important and had to reschedule the conference. Also, if they did go to jail they wouldn't have enough time to SEEK a foster that is right for their child. They would even have to TRANSFER their child to a new school, without him knowing that he was going to move schools unless they find a family member that wants to keep him until his parents are out of jail. Plus, the parents have their child and the flyer as RESOURCES to let them now that they are going to be conferences. That is why parents should not have to face jail time for missing their child's school conferences.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 28 - Truant Students

Global Positioning System (GPS) devices should be required for habitually truant students? They should have GPS,s because teachers could find out why they are always late. The ADMINISTER may even wonder if they have ditched school or decided to skip school so they could see the GPS locator if they are at home. It might be their ELEMENT to stay in their house and chill but everyone must go to school so they could learn, but if they don't, they are breaking the law. The only thing is getting the GPS hacked by a kid who was taught to CONDUCT a GPS, but if lucky enough, someone might have been looking at the kids GPS before it got hacked, so they could locate right away which kid it was who hacked it. That is way Global Positioning System (GPS) devices should be required for habitually truant students.

Greg went to a school activity called "Locked-In". Your supposedly at school for two days while not having anything just a sleeping bag and some cloths. The boys and girls were to get separated once they got there to the boy side an d the girl side. Greg didn't see that coming because he thought of going to talk to this one girl he liked named Holly Hills. Then the boy side thought that is was boring so they all pulled out their  ipods and so did the girls. Then the adults came and took them away from everyone. They even took away their phones after pulling it out when the adults noticed someone with one. So the whole time, Greg and everyone was bored. Some people even tried to get the phones back so they could call their parents to come pick them up.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 27 - Drug-Sniffing Dogs

School officials do have the right to use drug-sniffing dogs. The teachers of the school ASSUME that maybe the students could have drugs in their backpacks or maybe in their lockers. If the dog smells any drugs near a backpack or a locker it will RESPOND by sitting down right next to it, then will bark twice to let the officer know that he/she found drugs. The officers make the dogs go through a PROCESS of training that will make them better at finding drugs or for other uses. When the dogs become experts at finding drugs, that's when they are called "Drug-sniffing Dogs" and are used to find drugs. Therefore, school officials have the right to use drug-sniffing dogs.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 26 - Cars

I would like to have a car that would drive itself because I could be able to talk to other people easier than while driving and talking at the same time. Since it could drive itself, it would stop when it spots a person using its built in radar so car crashes will hardly OCCUR. The car was made to PROCEED with caution and make sue it doesn't run over or hit any one. There was a way the Google company came up with a METHOD to make sure the car would drive itself and would stop if it came close to hitting someone. The car was probably tested many times to see if it was supposed to be doing what it was programed to do. So many people may feel comfortable with riding it. That is way I would want a car that would drive itself

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 26 - Concealed Carry

Adults should be able to carry guns with them just in case they get in some kind of dangerous trouble. Before aquiring a gun, you should ESTABLISH an agreement with someone that you could only use it when you are in need of protection. Ofcourse the gun wont have any bullets, you will point the bulletless gun at the robber or any other trouble your in that will have you use your bulletless gun to INDICATE to the disturbing person to leave you alone. There is many ways to JUSTIFY that carrying a gun with no bullets will come in handy once in a while. That is why having an adult carry a gun should be allowed to be carried around by only adults.
