The benefits of importing Chinese goods do outweigh the consequences. For example, If we bought shoes made in the U.S.A., they would be less money. In addition, we would be helping the low economy that we are going through. Also, if we bought shoes made in China or Japan, the shoes would cost more and the people who worked on the shoes would get paid only like 5 dollars out of 40 dollars.
